We are pleased to launch the LIFT (Local Industry Funding Technology) managed social impact / STEM Education twinning programme in Cheshire & Warrington.

We are pleased to launch the LIFT (Local Industry Funding Technology) managed social impact / STEM education twinning programme in Cheshire & Warrington. Thanks to the support of NUVIA UK, the first wave of training and state-of-the-art equipment has been delivered to Birchwood Community High School and Culcheth High School, taking a meaningful step towards addressing the skills gap and supporting levelling-up efforts in the sector.

Kate Blackie from NUVIA UK highlighted the impact of the initiative:

"When we heard about the LIFT opportunities offered through 3D 360, we knew it was going to be a fantastic opportunity to engage with some of our local schools to develop career-relevant skills, increase awareness of the digital world, and set them up with insight and inspiration for their future ambitions. NUVIA were keen to sponsor and support the LIFT Cheshire & Warrington programme. With the digital and advanced manufacturing expertise of 3D 360, we collaborated with Birchwood High School and Culcheth High School to provide equipment and training. Supporting the programme has enabled more than 2000 HE students to access new technology and all its possibilities!"

This is a great example of collaboration in action by providing a long-term, sustainable solution to STEM education and future industry needs.

A big thank you to Kate Blackie for her invaluable support in helping bring LIFT Cheshire & Warrington to life.

Under the 3D 360 LIFT Cheshire programme, NUVIA UK has funded essential STEM equipment and training. Teachers and technicians from Culcheth and Birchwood High Schools have completed two days of 3D printer training, each school receiving two 3D printers to equip students with the skills they need for the future.

This is just the beginning—more to come!
