Paul is co-founder and co-owner of 3D 360 Ltd with over 30 years’ experience in the nuclear sector, having held senior and lead consultant roles on some of Europe’s most complex decommissioning projects.

Paul has spent over 30 years mastering engineering design and manufacturing. Today he focuses on helping individuals across the UK reskill and upskill in advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing, 3D CAD and Industry 4.0. He began his career with a four year mechanical engineering apprenticeship at British Nuclear Fuels Limited, gaining hands on experience in every aspect of the nuclear industry, and went on to hold senior and lead consultant roles on some of Europe’s most complex nuclear decommissioning projects.

Beyond his work at 3D 360, Paul dedicates himself to developing skills and social value across multiple sectors. He co-chairs the Social Value Group for the Northern Nuclear Alliance, serves on the Industry Advisory Board for Space and Aerospace at the University of Manchester and plays an active role in several regional skills and employment committees.

As an expert panel judge for the 3D Printing Industry Awards and an adviser to the Nuclear Institute’s Nuclear Digital SIG, he combines practical know-how with strategic insight to design training programmes that close skills gaps and build confidence.

At 3D 360 he leads the delivery of DWP-funded Skills Bootcamps and oversees the Local Industry Funded Training (LIFT) social value programme. LIFT simplifies social impact for learners and employers by delivering quantifiable Social Value TOMs without diverting internal resources, generating sixteen times the social value of traditional approaches.

For anyone seeking to embrace the future of digital manufacturing and achieve lasting impact, Paul and the 3D 360 team provide the expertise, hands on guidance and forward thinking solutions needed to succeed.
