Niki in office

Niki is a STEM professional and trainer who launched a flexible, home-based 3D printing business, combining hands-on making with teaching in additive manufacturing.

Niki began her career in 2004 on a Young Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering with GENII. She returned to STEM in 2023 as a single mum of two and set up a home-based 3D printing business to create income with the flexibility required for childcare.

Soon after, she completed 3D360’s Advanced Manufacturing course to deepen her understanding of core principles and refresh her CAD skills. The following year she joined 3D 360 Skills Centre CIC as a STEM trainer, sharing practical knowledge in additive manufacturing.

She now divides her time between her employed role and her business at home, with many weekends spent selling at local craft and maker markets.
